About Manny
Beloved. Advocate. Evangelist.

Emmanuel Gonzalez, most known simply as Manny, is a dynamic Catholic evangelist who speaks on the sensitive intersection of faith and LGBT+ topics. Drawing from his own journey as a disciple who is attracted to the same sex, Manny invites others to find fulfillment in the Catholic Church—especially in Her teachings on human sexuality.
Manny holds a bachelor's degree in social work and a master's degree in Catechetics and Evangelization from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Originally from Dallas, TX, Manny now resides in St. Paul, MN.
Manny's testimony has reached audiences both nationally and internationally, featured with notable Catholic ministries including Jason Evert’s Chastity Project, FOCUS, Ascension Press, National Catholic Register, Ave Maria Press, and the National Eucharistic Revival. His witness has also captured the attention of numerous Catholic bishops and has even led him to be an inquired contributor for Pope Francis' Synod on Synodality.
Manny joyfully shares his story and the hope of the Gospel with high school youth groups, college campuses, diocesan leaders, and conference audiences around the world.
